FIFA World Rankings Updated!

FIFA has updated the men's national team world rankings. Turkey maintained its 28th place in the December world rankings announced by FIFA.

Turkey ranked 28th with 1,537 points, while Hungary, our opponent in the Nations League play-off round, ranked 30th with 1,517 points.

Among our national team's potential opponents in Group E of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Spain ranked 3rd with 1,853 points, the Netherlands 7th with 1,747 points, Georgia 68th with 1,362 points and Bulgaria 82nd with 1,301 points.

FIFA will make its next world ranking update in April.
